SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Service Provider
SMS messaging services are provided by Keeal, Inc., a Delaware corporation("we," "our," or "us"), operating the Keeal platform, located at 800 N King Street, Suite 304 -2337, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. In the United Kingdom, Keeal is operated by Keeal UK Ltd (registered office address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ). The Keeal product/platform in the United States is built and supported with technology from Microxen Inc. (https://microxen.com). Microxen Inc. is a technology partner only: it is not the party you contract with under these Terms, it is not the merchant of record for customer payments, and customer card statements / Keeal-issued invoices identify Keeal (via Keeal, Inc.), not Microxen Inc..
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages, you expressly agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions, which are subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration or account setup, you provide your express written consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from the applicable Keeal legal entity (Keeal, Inc. or Keeal UK Ltd) at the phone number you provided. This consent complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable regulations.
You consent to receive messages for the following purposes:
United States (+1) Phone Numbers
For phone numbers registered in the United States, SMS messages are used exclusively for two-factor authentication (2FA) and account verification:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes when signing in to your account
- One-time passwords (OTP) for account verification
- Authentication codes for verifying sensitive account actions (e.g., changing security settings)
Messages to US numbers are delivered via registered 10DLC (10-digit long code) messaging in compliance with carrier requirements. We do not send marketing, promotional, or transactional notification messages via SMS to US phone numbers.
International Phone Numbers
For phone numbers outside the United States, SMS messages may be sent for:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes when signing in to your account
- One-time passwords (OTP) for account verification
- Authentication codes for verifying sensitive account actions
- Security alerts (e.g., new sign-in from an unrecognized device)
- Transaction and payout notifications (if enabled in your notification settings)
Messages to international numbers are delivered via Amazon Web Services Simple Notification Service (AWS SNS). Message availability and delivery may vary by country and carrier. You can manage which notifications you receive via SMS in your account notification settings.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to consent to receive SMS messages to use the Service, but certain features (such as two-factor authentication via SMS) may be unavailable if you do not opt in.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on how often you sign in to your account and perform actions that require authentication. You will receive an SMS each time a 2FA or OTP code is needed.
Typical message volume is 1–5 messages per week, depending on your sign-in frequency. You can manage your two-factor authentication preferences in your account security settings.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Rates are determined by your mobile carrier and your wireless service plan. Keeal does not charge any additional fees for sending or receiving SMS messages; however, standard carrier charges may apply.
We are not responsible for any charges incurred as a result of receiving SMS messages from us. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific messaging and data plan.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of receiving SMS authentication messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us
- Replying UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS message
- Disabling SMS-based two-factor authentication in your account security settings
